Given a warm, well drained position this has proved hardy in the UK. Makes very large tubers in time and has large, dark green leaves marked with varying patternation and big, pink flowers in Autum.

Again, if planted in gritty soil or raised bed where it won't have to spend the Winter sat in waterlogged soil this is perfectly hardy ( NB It also doesn't appreciate being overheated in Summer.)
