 tn_acutiloba.jpg

Daphne acutiloba          2ltr...£7.00

A slow-growing small shrub with long narrow leaves and clusters of bright white flowers late in the season. Bright red berries.

Daphne albowiana          1ltr...£4.00

Eventually making an eighteen-inch or two-foot high woody shrub with dark green leaves with a prominent central ridge and many pale yellow-green flowers in early Spring.- these are followed by equally numerous red berries. A plant that revels in the shade and moist conditions of dappled woodland.

tn_arbuscula.jpg Daphne arbuscula         8cm...£6.00

A fine plant which some manage to grow very well in a pot....I've had better results planting it in open ground where the roots are never parched but the rich soil is free-draining. Other requirements are sun and a nearby seat where the phenomenal scent can be savoured. Will ( very slowly ) make a congested foot-high and eighteen-inch wide mound.

Daphne bholua 'Jaqueline Postill'        2ltr...£8.50

Daphne bholua 'Sir Peter Smithers'        1ltr...£8.50

dn_bramdean Daphne 'Bramdean'           8cm...£5.50

(D. collina x D. cneorum var pygmaea) A really excellent plant for the alpine garden or select raised bed where its mound of glossy green leaves will provide an excellent foil for the highly fragrant and abundant pink flowers. Often flowers again in the Autumn.

tn_burk Daphne burkwoodii 'G.K. Argles'          sold out

An attractive form of D.burkwoodii making the usual upright-growing small woody shrub but with a glorious fine yellow-gold variegation to the leaves and lovely scented, pink flowers in mid-Spring. Full sun.

Daphne 'Cheriton'       1ltr...£7.50

A lovely compact form with small lustrous dark green leaves on a low-growing bush. Highly fragrant flowers of the richest rose-purple are produced in late Spring and early Summer.

tn_exima.jpg Daphne cneorum 'Exima'          9cm...£4.50

Perhaps the most vigorous form, making a mound up to two-and-a-half feet across after several years. When grown in full sun this will be completely smothered in the, initially dark-crimson buds, opening to sumptuous deep pink fragrant blooms. One can only stand, or sit, and admire the sight and scent....

tn_moravia.jpg Daphne cneorum 'Moravia'          9cm...£4.75

A vigorous, low-growing plant with blue-green foliage and very deep crimson-purple buds opening to scented, purple-pink flowers.

 Daphne cneorum 'Ruby Glow'          8cm...£4.75

Daphne cneorum 'Stasek'         9cm...£5.00

tn_Variegata.jpg Daphne cneorum 'Variegata'          1ltr...£4.50

This form makes quite a vigorous plant when happy. Pale green leaves with a white variegation and attractive tubular pink flowers.
