WELCOME TO AD HOC PLANTS

DODECATHEON Primulaceae
Dodecatheon ellisiae 9cm...£3.25
A very attractive member of this North American genus, forming a steadily increasing clump of delicate two-inch, fresh green leaves and on five-inch stems, white 'shooting stars' with a dark, narrow ring at the base of the filament tube.
Large, deep green elliptical leaves are a distinctive feature of this species and from these arise sturdy, five-inch scapes of four or more, violet flowers with contrasting yellow and white bands.
Dodecatheon jeffreyi 7cm...£2.00
Dodecatheon meadia f. album 1ltr...£3.25
Perhaps the most robust species which, when grown in a rich soil, can be more than a foot-and-a-half tall. Large, healthy-looking foliage and, in this form, several large white flowers per stem.
Flowers with bright red rings on erect stems over small clumps of pale green leaves.
Dodecatheon pulchellum 'Sooke's Variety' 9cm...£2.50
A strong-growing selection, up to eight-inches or so tall with red flowers on erect stems over tidy clumps of narrow, pale green leaves, often bronze tinged.
