Erigeron aphanactis          9cm...£2.50

( North America ) Narrow, hairy, grey-green leaves form small tufts of foliage, over which are held golden button-like flowers. Gritty loam in sun.

Narrow linear foliage covered in fine hairs, in tufts emerging from a slightly woody crown and numerous short stems of bright yellow 'button' flowers.

Erigeron elegantuus
9cm ... £2.50

From the dry interior Northwest of America, this 'fleabane' has clumps of grey-green linear foliage and bright violet-blue flowers with a golden heart. Dry, sunny spot.

en_flabellifolius.jpg Erigeron flabellifolius          9cm...£2.50

A distinctly different 'fleabane' from Wyoming. Pleated, flabellate ( fan-shaped ), mid-green leaves form a three-by-six inch, slightly woody shrublet with, in late Spring, white, large-petalled daisies, which slowly fade to pink. From steep alpine screes.

Erigeron linearis          7cm...£2.50

This is an attractive plant ideally suited to a well-drained position in full sun where it remain in character - a dome of fine, blue-grey linear foliage and many brassy yellow flowers on three-inch stems.

en_oreganus Erigeron oreganus           9cm...£2.50

Rosettes of slightly sticky, bright green spathulate leaves and from these radiate short stems carrying delicate, fine-rayed, pale lilac flowers. A 'fleabane' from vertical cracks and crevices in Oregon. Has a quiet charm.

en_pinnatisectus Erigeron pinnatisectus          7cm...£2.50

Slate-blue, finely dissected leaves in congested clumps, form attractive mounds in a free-draining, sandy soil and on short one-inch stems, delicate lavender daisies.

Erigeron pygmaeus         7cm...£2.50

Erigeron scopulinus           9cm...£2.50

A small, creeping evergreen species for a moist soil; but to flower well, I find it needs some sun and then it will produce a good crop of small white flowers in late Spring.

Erigeron uncialis var. conjugans        7cm ... £2.50

Surely one of the tiniest species, with small clumps of unusually, entire spathulate, deep green leaves and large white, fine-rayed flowers. Choice.
