Definately one of my favourites - has a slightly ephereal quality when in flower. Long narrow drooping heads of palest apricot yellow contrasting with the strangely lustrous grey-green, blotched brown foliage. Slow to reach flowering size.
Erythronium californicum 1ltr...£5.00
Striking, strong-growing species with large flowers of creamy white and with a contrasting yellow band and some red pencilling in the throat. A lovely and reliable free-flowering species for the garden.
Erythronium dens-canis 9cm...£2.50
Quite a demure, small species with pale lilac-purple, tubular flowers over elliptical, green leaves.
Erythronium dens-canis 'Lilac Wonder' 9cm...£3.00
Erythronium dens-canis 'Moerheimii' 9cm...£4.50
The rarely seen semi-double form of the 'Dog's Tooth Violet', with flowers having up to ten or twelve petals when established. Attractively mottled foliage.
Erythronium dens-canis 'Niveum' 9cm...£3.00
Erythronium dens-canis 'Old Aberdeen' 8cm...£4.50
A fantastic form, even when just in leaf - like some hyper-real camouflage patterned carpet, beneath large pink-purple angular chalices in early Spring.
Erythronium dens-canis 'Rose Queen' 9cm...£2.75
One of the prettiest forms in my opinion; lovely pale rose-pink flowers on short stems. Rich moist soils in shade.
Large white flowers with a distinct dark eye; and normally flowers a week or so before its cousins. A lovely form.
Erythronium elegans 9cm...£7.00
Erythronium helenae sold out
A relatively small form with varyingly marked leaves and open flowers of creamy yellow.
Erythronium hendersonii 7cm...£4.00
Flower wise this is quite a variable species; ranging from white to pink-purple and various variations in between including bi-coloured. All have the same quiet charm and graceful air; nodding, gently flared flowers on appropriate, upright stems and lustrous green leaves. Fantastic in a peat bed, trough or raised bed or anywhere with humus-rich soil. on

Erythronium 'Jeannine' 1ltr...£3.50
Erythronium 'Kondo' 1 ltr...£3.00
A distinct flowering form; several long-lasting rich yellow flowers, with a central red stain, held on sturdy eight-inch stems. Strong strap-shaped green leaves perform the refuelling process.
Erythronium multiscapoideum 9cm...£6.50
Erythronium 'Pagoda'
1 ltr ... £2.50
An understandably popular selection: vigorous and strong-growing in a rich, moisture-retentive soil with foot-high-plus flowering stems carrying numerous large, open yellow flowers.
