A magnificent upright growing holly; maybe six-feet high by eighteen inches across in ten years make this a startling accent plant with deep glossy green, spiky-toothed leaves.

A dense, slow-growing shrub with dark purple-green, spiny leaves. Happy in pretty much any situation.

Ilex colchica?hookeri           2 ltr ... £3.25

Obtained from Rosemoor Gardens many years ago and the label ( and my memory ) is long since faded. Forms a tough, spiky customer with attractive glossy leaves which are distinctly red-tinged when young.
