Lewisia 'Archangel' 7cm...£2.75
Lewisia 'Ashwood Carousel Hybrid' 7cm...£2.75
A lovely orange-flowered form of these tough Ashwood Nursery forms. Compact mounds of narrow, pointed dark green leaves from which emerge the dense heads of orange flowers. A very pretty form.
LEWISIA brachycalyx 9cm...£2.75
A sumptuous species in flower; large bowl-shaped chalices in shades varying from white to bight magenta. Slow-growing and retreating to an below-ground caudex after flowering. Unlike some, however, never likes to be bone dry during this resting period.
Lewisia cantelovii var. cantelovii 7cm...£2.50
Small, flat, finely toothed rosettes and airy sprays of numerous pink, veined violet flowers. A modicum of shade in Summer is appreciated.
Lewisia columbiana s.sp wallowensis 9cm...£3.00
A more modest species than many of it's cousins, with small, fleshy dark green rosettes and many short scapes carrying several white flowers, variously marked with magenta-red lines. Tough and happy in a pot or well drained, gritty spot on the rock garden.
Lewisia congdonii 7cm...£3.50
Lewisia cotyledon 'Ashwood Strain' 9cm...£2.25
A mix of colours - from white to yellow to deep red - and all needing a gritty, sunny spot to give of their best. The short scapes emerge from amongst the fleshy-leaved rosettes in early summer.
Lewisia cotyledon var heckneri 1ltr...£2.75
A refined form of the species with matt green, dentate, spathulate fleshy leaves making large, robust rosettes which give rise to several four-inch stems carrying lovely white flowers tinged pink by carmine-pink delineations. Good gritty soil in sun, though it can scorch if in a pot in the greenhouse.
Lewisia cotyledon var. howellii 7cm...£2.50
Seed collected from high up in the Klamarth Range in Siskiyou County, Colorado and a small form with slightly crinkled rosettes less than two-inches across and short stems carrying three or four flowers.
Lewisia x cotyledon var. howellii 9cm...£2.25
Quite vigorous rosettes with flowers of varying shades of red.
Lewisia cotyledon 'Snowstorm' 7cm...£2.50
Lewisia 'Farwater' 7cm...£3.00
Lewisia 'George Henley' 7cm...£2.50
Compact sprays of orange-red flowers over glossy green rosettes on this old Ingwersen variety. As a L. cotyledon hybrid its robust enough for a trough or sunny, well-drained rock garden.
Lewisia 'Goulds Hybrid' 9cm...£3.00
Long linear spathulate, fleshy leaves form large robust rosettes and produce stout, billowing multi-flowered scapes of orange. An attractive alternative to the numerous red and pink selections.
Lewisia leeana 7cm...£2.75
A free-flowering species with congested sprays of numerous starry white, red-veined flowers in late Spring. The compact rosettes of fleshy, narrow leaves are evergreen.
Lewisia 'Little Plum' 9cm...£2.75
A clone that comes true from seed and is probably one of the hardiest forms taking outside cultivation in its stride. Bright green rosettes of fleshy leaves and large flowers, on short stems, of deep purple-pink with a slightly mottled appearance.
Lewisia 'Mathew' 9cm...£3.00
This makes a substantial clump in time; fleshy, linear bright green leaves produce stems of large, chalice-like apricot-orange flowers in early Spring. Gorgeous.
Lewisia oppositifolia 9cm...£2.75
Collected by Ron Ratko in the Siskiyou Mountains, Orlando; glistening white flowers with rose tints to the petals are held on upright stems, above tufts of narrow, fleshy spathulate leaves.
Lewisia oppositifolia 'Richeyi' 7cm...£2.50
A refined species, with, in April/May, large open, green-tinged, white flowers on shorter stems. The compact nature of this form make it ideal for a pot. Sunny, well-drained position.
Lewisia 'Pinkie' 7cm...£2.75
Lewisia pygmaea 'Arizona Form' 7cm...£2.50
Lewisia rediviva 7cm...£2.50
Huge open goblet flowers in clear white or pinks appear as the narrow, slightly succulent foliage dies away in late Spring. Best kept dry once the foliage withers.
Lewisia 'Stradbrook Victoria' sold out
Lewisia 'Treviosa' 7cm...£2.50
(L. columbiana x L. cotyledon var. howellii) Deep green, narrow strap-shaped leaves beneath a billowing airy cloud of deep orange-red flowers. Very stunning and not difficult - moisture till flowering then no more direct moisture till Spring.
Lewisia tweedyi 'A.M. Form' 7cm...£2.75
Held in high esteem by many and rightly so; fleshy leaves form strong-growing rosettes and in late Spring, masses of multi-flowered stems in shades from white through yellow to bright pink.
Lewisia tweedyi 'Alba' 9cm...£3.50
A sumptuous large white-flowered form.
